Home & Community Support serves individuals with a diagnosis of Mental Retardation or Autism thru the age of twenty (20) and provides skill development for activities of daily living.

The service is provided within the home and community settings. Through repetition of skillbased intervention, our staff assists clients in learning the skills necessary to become more independent.

The goal of Home & Community Support Services is for the client and family to realize their potential by building activities of daily living skills, including:

  • Dressing
  • Eating/Meal Preparation
  • Light Laundry Duties
  • Self-Care/Hygiene
  • Communication Skills
  • Community Integration
  • Fine/Gross Motor Skills
  • Interpersonal Relationships
  • Safety Awareness

Home & Community Support Services For Adults

Home and Community Support Services for Adults serves individuals with a diagnosis of Mental Retardation and/or a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum who are 18 years or older.

This service promotes increased independence in the individual’s home or community, based on the needs and the program they qualify for.

Services are coordinated through the individualized Person Centered Plan and can include:

  • Exploring various transportation methods
  • Budgeting and grocery shopping
  • Accessing banks, libraries, gym facilities, etc.
  • Activities of daily living
