Mental Health Division


  • LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker

    Clinical supervision of 1-on-1 in-home support and outpatient therapy for individuals, families, and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. Must have experience in completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices.

    Masters degree: counseling, and social work.

  • LMSW-CC - Licensed Master Social Worker – Conditional

    Clinical supervision of 1-on-1 in-home support and outpatient therapy for individuals, families, and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. Must have experience in completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices.

    Working towards a graduate academic degree and has passed a state-certified licensing examination.

  • LCPC - Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

    Clinical supervision of 1-on-1 in-home support and outpatient therapy for individuals, families, and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. Must have experience in completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans and utilizing evidence-based practices.

    Must have passed a state-certified licensing examination.

  • RNC - Certified Psychiatric Registered Nurse

    Expertise in psychiatric and mental health nursing practice with understanding of theories concerning personality development and behavior patterns involved in the treatment and case management of mental illness. Practice in this area also requires knowledge of the expected effects of treatment on client behavior and of the relationship the behavior has to nursing care.

    Hold a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Maine.

  • CSW - Community Support Worker

    Employee will have direct 1-on-1 interaction with client inside the home or community setting according to the guidelines established in the Individual Habilitation Plan and under the supervision of a clinical supervisor.

    High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a valid Maine driver's license and liability insurance. Must complete Care & Comfort's CSW orientation, Mandt and CPR training

  • IHSS - In-Home Support Supervisor

    Has successfully graduated from an accredited College or University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Human Services or Health, or possess a current LSW licensure or higher to practice in the State of Maine.

  • DSP - Direct Support Professional

    Provides habilitation services as outlined in the Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP). These may include supervising the client with within the community, self-care/hygiene, and interacting in peer activities.

    Two (2) years working with the MR adult population. High School graduate or equivalent. Must complete orientation and required training.

  • BHP - Behavioral Health Professional

    Directs interaction with client under supervision of licensed clinical social worker, LCPC, LMSW or RNC utilizing interventions as detailed in an ISP treatment plan. Provides behavioral and skilled based interventions to clients and their families in the home or a community setting.

    A minimum of 2 years experience working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral health needs. Bachelor's Degree in social services, human services, health or education, or be a fourth year university student majoring in a related field.

Homecare Division


  • RN - Registered Nurse

    Provides skilled nursing services for the treatment of the patient's illness, rehabilitative needs and preventive care. Duties and responsibilities may vary between health care assignments.

    Successfully graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Maine. Must also hold a CPR certification. One year experience is required.

  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

    LPNs will provide skilled nursing services as treatment of the patient/client's illness, rehabilitative needs and preventive care. Duties and responsibilities may vary between health care assignments.

    Successfully graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current licensure to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Maine. Must also hold a CPR certification. One year experience is required. Current licensure to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Maine.

  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

    Duties and responsibilities may vary between health care assignment. Skills include, but not limited to: assisting client with activities related to personal care, assisting client with transfer and mobility, assisting clients with dietary needs, etc.

    High School Diploma or equivalent, Possess a certificate of training from a course accepted by the Maine State Board of Nursing. Listed on the Maine Registry of Certified Nursing Assistants

  • PSS - Personal Support Specialist

    Duties and responsibilities may vary between health care assignments assisting clients in activities related to personal care, transferring, mobility, dietary needs and household services.

    Certificate of training completion High School Diploma or equivalent, and completion of a training program with a curriculum prescribed by the Bureau of Elder and Adult Services.
